I’m currently growing a snake plant in my room, but it’s struggling. After losing previous plants to overwatering, I’ve been very cautious with water this time. Could underwatering be the reason it's wilting? I’d appreciate some advice on how to save it.

I see two problems for your plant. First one is overwatering and you need to reduce the frequency and amount. second one is the root zone is crowded. you need to remove old roots and replace with new soil.
